Exclamation Need help/EGR advise!

Hey guys

So I got my car scanned to see what code I was throwing and it was in regards to EGR flow. I'm almost positive that its the connection form the flex tube to the headers, because it isn't exactly perfect. Any tips to getting a better seal? I thought I had the flex tube bent at the best angle, but apparently not. Also, I was just thinking - I cant remember if I used any RTV - should I try using some of that as well? Thanks!

Re: Need help/EGR advise!

So I guess my main question is - CAN I use RTV to aid in sealing the connection on my headers?

the tube at the headers I just bolted it up really good and left it alone. Whatever sealant you use, make sure that it's 02 sensor safe.

I might as well try a tad on the side w/o the bolt, that's the side that didn't look so tight. I'll bend the crap outta it some more and use some O2 safe RTV. Thanks for the response!
