need help diagnosing sounds coming from engine + video
okay. so, i have these sounds coming from my engine. sometimes when i'm at a redlight, i can hear a pretty loud rattling noise right near the front right wheel well. If i put the car in neutral, it goes away a little. there is also alot of rattling coming from my heads. overall, the engine seems pretty loud compared to what it was when i bought it a couple months back.
sorry for the bad sound, which is primarily what the video is about.

azmarkus (1 hour ago) You need to take it in and have the RR's adjusted, LT1's (unlike LS1's) have NSA (non self-aligning).
this is a comment on the youtube video. what are RR's?
and could this problem be making the noises?
Is that a teal or mystic teal car? Looks similar to mine..
RR= Roller Rockers, The stock t1 comes with stamped rockers, if any valvetrain work had been done by you or a previous owner you may have installed roller rockers at the time. Roller rockers are also noisier than the stock stamped rockers.
That being said, it does sound a bit like the noisy rockers where one may be loose on the drivers side but its very hard to tell given the sound quality. If you've never adjusted the rocker before I'd suggest finding someone who can, or doing some searching on this site before attempting it yourself.
Not knowing what your modifications are, all I can tell from the video is it looks to have a borla exhaust, maybe a y pipe? if so I'd check and tighten all the exhaust connections first and see if that may help.
Also noticed you may also have a slight rear main seal leak due to what looks like an oil puddle on the ground??
