Angry Need help diagnosing no start/dieing scenario.

I have a 95 LT1 with long tube headers. The car runs fine, then will die and will not start. After sitting, it'll start right up fine, until it dies again. I went outside to check for spark on a no start, and found the wire loom running down the passenger side was well burned into by the header ( it broke loose from where I had it ). Its the bigger wire loom, not the smaller one ( which is for the O2 sensor anyways). Anyone know what those wires run to? They are burned into pretty damn bad!

do a search for shoebox site i think he has some wireing diagrams.

BTW i would say just buy a whole new wirring harness and make sure to tie them out of the way of those headers!

Mine got burnt through too, and if I remember correctly, the wires in that loom were for the O2's, Knock Sensor, and either a ground or starter wire, I can't remember, I had to extend my wires out wrap them back up and move them outta the way permently

i wouldnt suggest exstending the 02 sensor wire if you dont have to, they are very very sesative and from what i have heard splicing them makes them malfunction.

find a write up on how to do this. Cut the wires before the burn and splice longer wires on them, run them along the ac / heater core lines (zip ties) down above the ac compresor to relocate them. You will never have this problem agian.
