need help with a/c and fans

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and i'm already having problems with my car. I have a 94 z28. the ac and fans don't work. one of the fans was wired to stay on all the time. I checked the fuse and they're ok, then used a test light and there is no power to the fuse all the other fuses and relays are getting power. the ac/ and fan fuses uses the same wire, it's an orage wire. does anybody know where this wire come from? maybe ignition switch? I'm gonna go buy a switch for the fan, but it's getting really hot! and i want ac. also check engine light is on. I'll appreciate any help.
thanks,

Give the fuse number you are saying has no power. I don't see where the a/c and fans are on the same fuse.

under the hood is #5 and #6. the turn signal is not working and in the fuse box #2 is not working. I haven't checked all all the fuses inside the car, but the are probably more without working.

did you have the key on when you tested for hot at the fuse? The AC/cruise fuse is nly hot in run and start, heater/ac fuse is hot in run as with the fans fuse. did you acualy remove the fuses to look at the concetion the termonals are making?

all the testing was done with the ignition key on, not running. i did look under the fuse box and the conection is good. so inside the car number 2 and 3 don't work and under the hood 5 and 6 don't work. that's abs, fans, ac and turn signals.

Those feed off the ignition switch. That's where I would go next. Look for the orange wire in the black connector. Possible that your ignition switch could be bad, too.

Pretty common. There is a replacement guide on my Tech Page if you need it.
