The plugs in the side of the block and in the cylinder head,What size and where do i get the tool. Its just like a rear dif plug but its too big for a 1\4 inch rachet and too small for a 3\8. The auto part store had no clue.

The head plugs on the LT1 are 8mm. Harbor freight (PART# 94961) was selling a 12 piece drain plug socket set FOR $12.99.

 

5/16" square (or about 8mm ).
