if i were to install an upgraded ignition system such as MSD, Holly or any other good ones, would it take care of my problem with starting. a couple people said that my fuel pump was bad so it wasnt getting enough fuel at start, but i checked my fuel pressure and it was right around 39 psi. which i guess is normal. so i dont know what else to do. if my opti is going or what, any suggestions thanks.

 

How many miles does your car have on it?? Have you tried replacing your wires and plugs?? An aftermarket igntion box won't do anything. IMO they are a waste of money unless your setup calls for it.
