Need Help

I Am About To Build A 355 And Do Not Know Whick Pistons To Use The Rebuild Kit I Am Looking At Has A Choice Between Flat Top Or Dished Top Pistons Anyone Have Any Suggestions On Which Ones To Use AND WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO I AM JUST TRYING TO BUILD A DECENT STREET CAR

Flat top will give you more compression. More compression ='s more power. But the more compression you have the more octane you must run to prevent pre-detenation (spark knock). I would ask your machinist for advice on what to chose, because your gunna have to deck your heads, and that will bump the compression too.
