need help!
HI, I have had my 94Z28 for about a year i recently noticed when my car is running cold, the car idles at about 1000rpms when i drive and the car warms up i notice my car drops idle around to 600rpms?? and it seems to run alot better when its ran from a 1000 rpms also i have not changed my spark plugs since i have had the car, also when the car is warmed up i hear a ticking sound like its coming from the alternator???, please help im stumped

The ticking sound could be your starter, its hard to say. Maybe listen with the hood open while somebody else starts your car.
Its normal for vehicles to idle higher when they are warm. Im not sure what exactly you mean when you say it runs better at 1000rpm. Spark plug problems usually manifest at higher rpms, then they are firing at a higher rate (eg. acceleration, especially under load when rpms stay higher for a longer time). You will feel misfires, hesitation in acceleration, and even backfire (loud popping sounds) if the plugs are bad enough.

yea when its colder it idles at 1000rpm , when hot like 600 to700
and when its cold no ticking ? and also faild to mention i can kind stall my car between 500 -700 rpms i t sounds like a little 12 volt motor dieing out? and makes an electrical sound like a spark only when i stall it tho, sometimes when its hot it makes that motor whining dieng sound? but no spark sound ,and both sounds come from passenger side of the car by the alternator , but the alternator seems fine no batt power loss or dimmed lights, also
i have replaced the battery last month... thanks for any help

Well i replaced my plugs tonight omfg pita , i have not changed them since ive had the car , drivers side plugs were easy ,but passenger side almost killed me and there were 2 regular junk plugs in the passenger side! and a old ac platinum lookd like an original plug and the last plug was original 1 too lol , the person who changed the plugs before didnt bother with the passenger side,and i fixed my motor whining sound it was the sheild over where my cat converter was
