Need to find a place that sells the center console gauge pod...

I did a search, and found a few people who had made their own using plexiglass. That's all fine and good, but I have no idea how I'd cut the holes for the gauges to go into.

So, does anyone know who might still sell that console gauge holder? I called Classic Industries this morning because they had it in their 2000 catalog that I had, but the guy said they had discontinued it.

Need one bad.....please help if you have any idea on how to get ahold of one of these.....

Thanks.

Are you talking about a piece of plastic that covers up where your casette tapes go? I run Autometer Pro-Comp Ultra Lite gauges and I only have the dual A-arm pods. I was planning on three more gauges and I was going to fabricate a plate with three holes in it to fit in the spot where the casettes go. I checked and found out that I can fit 3- 2 1/16 inch gauges there. I would like to know where you want to put yours and if I can buy some kind of a pod like you were talking about.

I would not use plexiglass because it's not that easy to work with and when you are done it would look like, well, plexiglass. I would use 1/8" thick aluminum. When it's done you could polish or paint it. But it doesn't seem like such a good place for guages. It's far out of your field of view when you're driving.

Talking

Yeh
this thing is pretty much out of stock everywhere
I got one in the group buy about two years ago in here. Mine didn't have a holes for the gauges so I got 2" drill bid (really don't remember what it calls) for drilling out the holes for the door locks. After 2 min of measurements and 2 min of drilling it had 2 nice holes for 2 1/16 gauges

Thumbs up

I am pretty sure they stopped making them all together i remember some company did a GP here last year for the last ones they were going to make. You could make the holes for the gauges with a Hole Saw
