Okay, I know there have been hundreds of posts involving gears, but I need to clarify something...I have 2.73's on street tires, and my average run at the track is a 14.4 with 2.3 60'. (Keep in mind that I certainly don't stomp it on the launch...the track just isn't friendly.) It would seem that if I go with Nitto's right now, I would cut at least 3 tenths off my 60', and therefore 1/4 mile. The thing is, I always hear that gears is good for at least a few tenths, but does that assume perfect traction before and after the gear swap? It seems like some people are stating their improvements when they go from stock+street tires to gears+DR. Anyways...what would you expect if I'm going with Nitto's and 3.73's? (60' and 1/4)
