i need to replace my cat on my 95z i have mac mids and y-pipe it has a random cat and its shot, i failed emissions double the limit of hc. looking for a cheap high flow cat whats a good brand?

A lot of the aftermarket cats are useless. Those precious metals are expensive I think Walker makes some of the cleanest cats around. I know Random Technology has a bad reputation when it comes to actually being effective at scrubbing the exhaust gasses. Most others are somewhere in between.
Of course, I also think a lot of people blame the cats when it's another problem at the heart of it all. If you have a misfire or lots of overlap from a cam, you're gonna cook the cat.
If you really don't care about the trees the best thing to do is install a stock cat for testing and run an offroad pipe otherwise.
Oh, you should also consider getting the car plenty hot and adding denatured alcohol to the fuel tank for the next test
