I used a wrench on the banjo bolt. Wasn't enough room for a socket.

From reading here, people have had the best luck with pulling BOTH heads and leaving that part intact. You'll need a buddy, most likely, to help you lift them both off.

If you have a specific reason for only removing ONE head, then make sure your local dealer has one in stock. There's a good chance you'll need it...

Lots o' luck..

Yeah thass exactly what I want to do. IS just leave that assembly were it is. I have no reason to pull it out. I was jus saying since I have the driver side head off ALL READY leaving leaving the head hooked up to that bolt that bolts the coolant piping to it, I was able to get a socket back there. ALL i had to is slide it upward and I can fit a socket. I JUST NEED THE SPECIFIC SOCKET Size. Ive tried every socket that I hace. 5/8's 7/16/ etc... So thass all. Thanks

Thanks shoe. ILL give it a try. NOW I would like to get into my LT discusion. IM sure theres alotof people here running HOOKER long tubes. I hered there really good. MY concern. IS that I have a 1.5 drop in the front. IM worried about the headers hitting the ground on certain terrians. What kinda of set ups do you guys have that are running LT's? Do you have skid plates under neather there or somthing to protect it?
Thanks
Chris

When I had to pull my heads to fix a leak, I just pulled both them out together...It would have made it much easier to have someone there to help but I was able to lift both out together, lay them down on the cardboard, clean up the surfaces, and then put them back on.

its 15mm. However, if they are orig.. they are the old narrow head design and tend to strip, in which case its vice-grip territory. if you buy new ones, they will look like the picture above, and then they work much better
