Need all your guys help!

Ok i just bought my motor without ECU or wiring. Im getting a custom harness made for my s10 but the ECU is a hurdle im looking at. Since i dont know what year the motor is will it affect getting an ECU and getting it tuned?

When you get a chance, find out what the part number is on the timing chain cover and post it. Either myself or someone else will be able to tell you what year motor you have.
