So I decided to get the LE3 H/C package. Right now Im running a set of mildly ported stock heads and the cc306 cam with stock lifter, and pro magnum S/A rockers on a 383. This is kinda two question in one here.

#1 I need a set of lifter to handle the LE3 cam. Lloyd Elliott recommended the comp lifters or the Morel lifters. I kno the Morel lifters are better than the comp cams lifters but how much better? What are the pros and cons of the two?

#2 The heads will have beehive springs on them I wanted to kno if self aligning rockers would work with them or not, or is it better just to switch to nsa rockers and guide plates.

Any info is appreciated.

 

I have been running the Crane Gold SA Rockers with 918 springs without any issues. Keep in mind that it is with a less aggressive cam. Were it me, I'd contact someone like Crane or Comp Cam to see what they think about SA's and the limitations.
