Angry need advice, car stuck at shop

So I take my SS in to get a new clutch put in Wednesday. Goto pick it up as theyre finishing it, and as they drive it off the lift, guy looks mad, told me there was no pedal pressure and aparently the master cylinder went. It was leaking fluid into the car and it was too late to finish it then, and they were closed thurs for thanksgiving. Today he replaces the master cylinder and then says the pedal pressure is still screwed up so he replaced the slave cylinder. Goto pick it up again as he's finishing and aparently he said he can't get it to bleed right and he things he got a defective master cylinder. Does this sound right? I now have to inconvenience my father and take his truck back to school with me and hes out a car until mine is done.

are they charging you for the replacement of the master and slave cylinders? if it was working b4 the clutch replacement and now it's broke, its maybe something they did and broke it and now charging you, or are just telling things are broke but arent and just charing you anyway. I'd be awefully suspicious and think i was getting ripped off. Have they showed you the old master/slave cylinders?

well the master cylinder started to leak real badly inside the car after the clutch was replaced. I saw that and yes im paying for it. When he got the slave cylinder he said if that wasnt the problem i wouldnt have to pay for it, so I'm guessing if he replaces the master cylinder again and it fixes it i wont have to pay for the slave.

the real question is, will a new clutch/pressure plate kill a weak hydraulic system? He told me since the old clutch and PP were so shot, they werent holding a lot of pressure. Since the new clutch/pp were putting so much more pressure through the system, it blew the seals in the master cylinder? does this make sense?

Dont have any positive news, but I had this problem with my last GM. (90 GMC 350 5 spd) Bad times, I chased that problem for 10 years. Replaced the clutch 6 times, master cylinder 5 times, slave cylinder 4 times, and the line that connects them once (stupid $159 hose). Never solved it. It would only bleed half-way if you pressure bled it, and tradional, gravity, or even vacuum methods never worked at all. I finally let go of the truck after myself a dozen+ shops and thousands of $$$ failed.
Sorry I couldnt be more helpful but it sounds like me, hopefully yours will work out better than mine.

I know a TON of people that have problems once they open the system up it is VERY hard to get it to bleed correctly. I am looking into this for another friend. when I have some time at work I will look up the correct bleeding procedure and see if I can get some insite into this. it's a common problem
