need AC diagram

took the trans am to the shop and they said the (in line filter) on the highside was cloged and needed to be changed and the have the system recharged... well they wanted 600 bucks to do it..so I just need a diagram showing me where the filter is and I will change it myself and charge it up.. Thanks

I belive this filter is in the block on the firewall.

yea thats kind of what I was thinking.. i guess its called the ORIFICE TUBE. so I am hopeing I can just take that line off there and it will be right there...

4th gen a/c systems don't have an orifice tube. That block on the end of the hoses is the expansion valve. That may be what is gimped up.
