need .2 for 11's, whatya think of this plan.

alright, last year i ran a 12.196 @ 110.96 on a 1.73 60' with a 4l60e (this was with a 3585 race weight.
with this it dynoed 333RWHP/341RWTQ

this year, the 4l60e was swapped for a T-56 and i am doing the following....

ASP pulley
LCA's
LS1 driveshaft
weight reduction......
skinnies (40-50lbs)
cowl hood (5-10lbs)
race seat (10-15lbs)(i have power leather seats)
front bumper support/impact bar (15-25lbs)
rear bumper support (25-30lbs)
AC delete pulley (15-20lbs

that should get me down to a 3435-3470 race weight and hopefully 360RWHP/355RWHP with the less drivetrain loss through the M6 and the addition of the ASP pulley

if i can hook worth a crap it should net me a high 11/ CAM ONLY!!!

the car has only been run once since the M6 has been in (no weight loss on this run).
it ran a 13.002@112.3mph on a 2.3 in FULL STREET TRIM (capped headers,street tires,belt on,ect.)

whatcha think?

well, 100 lbs roughly = .10 off your 1/4 time. I think you could hit 11's with that, as long as you can drive stick pretty well and get a good 60'.

Get some good sticky tires ( I imagine you have some already ) and 11's looks like it is very possible if your car is running right.

i don't think you'll see 27hp from the trans, pulleys and driveshaft!! maybe 15hp.

dyno of 1.1hp gain with ds

dyno of 0.7hp gain with pulley

id say with weight reduction you'll be there by itself

It's all gonna lie in the 60'. If you can leave hard w/o breaking the rear with that m6 you should be able to get ther but if the car doesn't hookup you can forget 11's or 12's look at your last trip to the track joking Good luck and get that thing to 60' at least 1.6's and you will be there. later

If you're taking the A/C out you might as well remove the condensor and all the plumbing for it as well.

All in all 40lbs?

Good luck matching those old 60' times going from an A4 to an M6, pulling those times on a M6 with a 10bolt isnt easy. My raceweight was 3450 last time out and I'm making close to the same HP/TQ your expecting on an M6 also. I've only been able to get to 12.18 so far due to my "lousy" 60' times, best so far was a 1.86. I have a basically stock suspension though, just ES tranny and tq arm bushings, removed front sway bar and skinnies/BFG drs. I just got a set of BMR lower control arms and relocation brakets, installing them tomorrow. I'm going to try them out this sat and see how much they help, I think they may get me to my goal. I'm dying for an 11

Ice your intake to dead cold before you hit the 1/4 . Don't take the ice off until you are supposed to pull up to the water box. On my 95 M6 the ice is worth .2-.3 depending on the weather.

i would think there would be a little more than 5-10 horse in extra power with going the M6 instead of the A4. ive head that a M6 only loses 12% to the wheels where a A4 will rob 15-17%.

with 333 with an A4 that should put me at around 345 with the M6 swap alone. and the pulley is the same as pulling the belt (which i picked up a SOLID tenth and MPH at the track EVERYTIME). and when i dynoed the 333HP, i didnt have the belt pulled b/c we didnt want the voltage to drop and the car die while flashing the computer. so i a hoping that the gains will go as followed.

ASP pulley: + 8-10RWHP
LS1 driveshaft: 5-8RWHP
M6 swap: 10-12RWHP

which would put me between 356-363RWHP

i dont know, we will see here soon. i am going to the dyno here in few weeks. ill be sure to post the results.

oh yeah, keep in mind that this is all through a 10 bolt with 3.73's.
