Naturally aspirated methanol injection kit?

I have been reading about methanol injection kits as well as alky kits, but does anyone use these kits without a turbo or supercharger? Also, what kind of gains should be expected on a stock lt1?

alky injection is useful in boosted applications because of the cooling effect it has on the air that is heated when compressed. Does not really apply to NA motors.

But is it true that you could run a more aggressive tune and make more horespower with alky on a NA motor?

Thanks. My buddy was going to sell me his kit for $100 bucks, so I wanted to know if anyone else had used this kit in the same way I would. Maybe I will just try it and see how it works.

after doing some more research I am not going to install the alky kit. Not enough gain and potential engine problems on stock na application.
