Name this Hose!?

Here is a picture of the hose, I am talking about. It is coming out of the passenger side of the TB, above the Coolant hose. It is connected to the Valvecover. This is not my car, just a picture I found of Slim's T/A that features it:
Here!

Its the one with PRC TBU on it.
On my car that hose is cracked, and it looks like it is leaking everywhere. Also where it connects to the Valvecover is definately leaking because is oil all around it. And it just looks nasty. Basically I want to know the hose's name so I can get a new one, as well as get a new grommet to fit the Connector to the Valve cover. Or! is there anything else I can do? It looks to me like a vent hose. So could I possible use one of those small valve cover breathers, and then plug the TB connector? I apologize if that is a really ignorant question... i just have no idea.

Thanks!
Nathan

Try this:

Also a GOOD discussion of it, and an option of a 'breather/seperator' mod[I did that it's fine...]with p/n's:

Breather in valve cover is a bad idea[unmetered air]

Heres' the seperator p/n's:
Deutsch Oil Seperater Breather BF412
Purolator part B23165
Fram BA 6592

Just a question though. Again I apologize if this is redundant. But Could I just plug both holes? Or do I need that crankcase ventilation? I understand the concept of why It is a bad idea to add a valvecover breather, that makes total sense. I guess I am just curious about how harmful it would be without somesort of ventilation through that hose.

Thanks
nathan

PCV systems are helpful to avoid power loss, knock, blowing oil out the seals, etc.

You need the ventilation, one way or another the engine will ventilate

I wouldn't plug it...
Like posted above it'll ventilate[thru blowing seals, etc] if you do that..

Hey! well thanks for everyones help. After I wrote that 2nd/3rd post, I went to auto zone picked up the Deutsch oil separator, and was able to switch it out in a heartbeat. My only speed bump was the guy at Autozone told me the inlet for the breather was 3/8, so he insisted I get 3/8 hose, despite telling him I thought otherwise. Well when I got home of course found out the obvious that I needed a bigger diameter hose, so I was able to go there and switch it out, no problem.

Thanks for everyones help!
I really appreciatei t!
