myth about o2 sensor harness?

even if you run the same gauge wire that the harness is made up of there will be a problem? why, not enough or to much resistance. where can i buy them if you definatly need to get them for hooker long tubes. 1995 trans am

As long as you don,t mind buying another O2 sensor if you screw it up you can splice wire into the O2 sensor itself.
I was not going to hack my harness and I had one new Bosch O2 laying around so I bought a universal Bosch O2 and spliced away.
They are fine so far.
Got about 2500 miles on the LT setup and the O2s are still reading the way they are supposed too.
I spent a good bit of time splicing my extension wire into the O2s and it looks very nice, take your time and do it right and don,t cut corners and you should not have any problems.

I got my O2 wire extensions from www.thunderracing.com

I think they have different lengths and such....

I have mid lengths though...

Still same wire, it should work....
