Hey guys. This has been a while that I was at the track and got these times but I figured I would eventually post them. With all the mods in my sig minus the hotcam and the 3.73 gears. I was running 2.73 gears at the time also, I ran a best of 8.76 at about 79 mph in the 1/8th mile. Then I installed the 3.73's in place of the 2.73's and dropped in my hotcam and 1.6 rr's. I ran a new best of 8.28 and trapped over 84 mph on a couple runs and I AM STILL RUNNING THE STOCK TUNE FOR THE CAM!!!! After multiplying my 1/8th mile times by 1.55 which gives you a close guess at 1/4 mile times. I dropped .7 off my 1/4 with just 3.73 gears and an untuned hotcam. I am hoping to drop off between .15 and .2 after the tune which I know is possible bc I have read of people gaining between 15 to 25 rwhp just from getting a good tune for there cam. I would like to hear from people who have track times with a hotcam before and after there tune. Hope people find this info helpfull. Peace, Dustin.

 

Your sig has a 110LSA. Isn't the Hot Cam a 112 LSA?

 

Yes it is 110 LSA but everything else is exact hotcam specs

I picked up almost three mph going from stock tune to a mail order tune. Mine ran so rich it would backfire sometimes if I stabbed the throttle.
