My new 383 is getting assembled :) (pics)

Slowly but surely im getting it done. Going to pull the blown lt1 out of the car tomorrow and start swapping things over (timing chain, cam, headers, intake, etc...).

a few things to keep in mind when assembling your 383.

you will need to ding/dent out your oil pan if you are using your stock pan.

you may also need to ding or add washers to your windage tray so that it will clear the crank.

You will have a ton of fun w/ a 383 stroker, i know i have so far!

Where does the pan need to be cleared?

i had to clear the pan at the back next to the dipstick, Are you not going to run a new Timeing chain? I know i would there cheap insurance.
