My motor's nitrous LIMIT???

I am running a 383 10.8:1 with a SCAT 9000 crank, sealed power hyper pistons with coated skirts, stock pm rods, M6 with 3.42 gears, ported lt1 manifold, fully ported 63cc lt1 heads with 2.00/1.55 cc305 with full comp cam valvetrain, 1.52 roller, 30# inj, 52mm tb, high pressure oil pump

What is my motor's nitrous limit and do you guys have any recommendations on which way to go with what system?

My buddy has a similar set up but his motor is 9.5 to 1. Your is near stock, but like you my buddy runs the stock rods. Are you planning to spray on pump or race gas? Those big 63cc heads are better because they willl lower the compresion a bit. I say on race gas with a good fuel system it should handle a 200 shot. People have sprayed 250 shots on race gas on stock bottom ends.

In conjuction with what neil said.

Find out how much your bottom end can hold, subtract your fwHP from that to find the difference in how much of a HP shot yor motor can stand.

Then figure out if your fuel setup is upto par with the n02 demands.

what would be the best way to find out what the bottom can hold because there are a number of facotrs that could determine that

Probably don't want to go much higher than a 150 shot with hyper pistons.

I think your limiting factor is the pistons, the sealer power Hyper pistons are pretty cheap as far as quality goes. I would treat them like the stock ones.
you never know really, I would take precausions that would help the motor live, for instance, use the best gas you can, use a one heat range colder plug when on the juice gapped at .035. Make sure your Fuel pump is top notch in order.Get a device that will allow you better control , retarding the timing, and on and off points for the juice flow. I would start at 100 shot and work up from there.
