My LT1 block has 4-bolt mains

Found this when we pulled the pan in the process of doing a rebuild. I was just wondering how common this is to find. I know that some cars came with the 4 bolt mains.

It's probably a service block. A lot of F-Bodies got 4 bolt blocks when the engines were replaced under warranty.

Correction - no LT1 F-Bodies came from the factory with 4 bolt blocks.

Let us not forget the LT4 cars.

HA! Tahts cool. Makes me wonder about mine (not that I care enough to pull the pan). I'm gonna check and see what month it was built.
