No no no.... I'm just saying I wouldn't be jumping for joy comparing those numbers to a head flowed completely different.

I don't give a **** who ports what.....if you put the heads on and the bitch goes faster you get credit.

don't care about dyno's and flow neches.....put the number up on the big end. Proof is in the pudding...

dont get the wrong idea

i am simply stating for my first time P&P heads and get pretty crazy #s With stock valves ( I REPEAT STOCK VALVES) is pretty cool to me. i am only comparing them to lloyds heads because everyone knows how well they flow. I am a big fan of lloyds work, but these heads will ATLEAST flow as good as the Le2 heads. and it only cost me about $3 for the WD40 and thats it. so you tell me if you have the equipment to do it would you rather pay $3 or $1400-$1700 for heads.

Making a head perform on a flow bench won't make it perform where it matters, at the track.

I'm in no way trying to say your heads suck. I was just wanting to make sure that when you are using his numbers for comparison you are taking into account that the heads have been flowed differently so there will be a difference. 28" will give you inflated numbers. If you flowed these the same as Lloyd I'd think you'd be more around 255-260cfm at 600. Not bad numbers at all for stock valves on stock castings! But just so you know on Lloyd's bench your heads don't flow the same.

At any rate you saved yourself some money and have a nice set of heads to use!

It's not racing flow benches. It's making valid comparisons. Would you not agree that two heads flowed on different benches will flow different numbers? I'm not saying it will make power ... I'm saying he is making a comparison based on two different methods of flowing heads. It's like giving STD HP readings instead of SAE, everyone bitches about it.

Then he must be the only person who flows them at 26" out there, you might want to re-check your info. If you want to see what my LE2's flowed at 28" pm me and I'll show you the flowcharts, but I don't want to completly hi-jack this thread.

You going to do light weight valves? Reducing the weight in the valve train makes for some nice pick ups.

like mdacton said, flow #s dont really mean anything.

Id rather have velocity and a good AVERAGE flow.
i.e.
200,240, 260 compared to something like 160, 190, 300 (.400, .500, .600 respectively).
