My car is running on 4 cylinders HELP!!!

I was on my way to school this morning, and i stopped in to see my sister. When i came out my car was running like supreme crap, running really rough. I went back home and let it cool off. I think it might be the opti-spark, but im not sure. I t seems to be only running on the passenger side cylinders which is weird. The 4 drivers side plugs were covered in gas when i pulled them. Is it even possible for the opti to half crap out lol.? The weird part is it was runnin strong when i went in to see my sister.......i always thought she was bad luck

Did you check for spark on the cylinders in question? I noticed last week when I was working on mine, the driver side plug wires went through a loom not far from the opti. Is it possible the plug wires on that side all came out or unseated from the opti cap at the same time? Check them all for spark. If there aint none, grab another wire and be sure it's seated in the cap tight.

I was checking the plug wires, and the firest one i took off the boot for the plug fell off in my hand, and it is cracked in the insulation in a few spots. Ill just go ahead and get some new wires and plugs, put a new fuel filter in it and see where that gets me.
