my A/C blows funny

When i am goin down the road at about 70 my ac blows like normal, but when i down shift to pass it stops coming out of the vents and blows at my feet, but when i let off of the gas the ac returns to normal. WTF??

did the problem start when you ported the driveshaft??

i never pat attention to the AC at WOT but i know the AC flywheel disengages at WOT so either that is what's happeneing or possibly vacuum loss is causing it to switch 'cuz that's what controls where the AC blows.

My Check vavle has a crack in it and i am assuming that is the problem. No the problem did not start with the drive shaft porntig. The guy who sold me the car over 3 years ago told me he had the drive shaft ported about two weeks after he bought it new.

Im glad the work was done and yes it was the check vavle. Now everything works just fine. Thanks for all the help guys.
