i have a 96 imp ss that is having starting problems. i ran the autoxray on it and it showed -12 degrees of timing while i was turning over the engine. does this mean 12 degrees before it gets to TDC, cause when i stop turning the engine over it starts puffing out the intake. this is the weird part, i can give it 100% throttle and the car starts to run at 3 degrees, but i have to keep it floored or it will go back to -12 degrees timing. so if i could get 12 degrees i would bet that the car would start like it's supposed to but where do i look for this problem? computer? i have a new opti, coil, coil module, plugs and wires are in great shape, new battery, cables and grounds are good. but i'm lost!!! any help for a fellow LT-1? thanks, jason.
