Mufflex y-pipe with KBDD SFC's on a convertible??
Mufflex y-pipe with KBDD SFC's on a convertible??
This is sort of a repost. Has anyone gone the longtube and mufflex y-pipe route on a convertible and then try adding Kenny Brown SFC's? The reason I ask is that after installing the Y-pipe I had to remove the crossbrace in order to get it to fit up in there. And since that's where the SFC's tie into, coupled with the fact that the Y-pipe takes up so much room, I'm concerned that I may not be able to use my new SFC's. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.
Hey
Thanks for the reply to my msg I sent you. May want to try over at www.chirpthird.com also. They have a 4th gen conv. section though it is not as active as here.

I have kbdd subframes and LTs with mufflex y-pipe everything fit great all i had to do was cut a corner of the stock brachet off because the y-pipe hit their that was it I have pics if you want to see them let me know
My car is an auto if you want give me a call and i can give you the name of the driveshaft loop i will have to look I had KB install these and they did a great job..#765-426-9944 cell or leave your # and i will call you
Looks like the Metco Drive shaft loop you got there. It looks like adding LT's, Mufflex y-pipe, 4inch to 3inch down tube, and borla cat back will be a complete bolt-in setup using this drive shaft loop for us conv people. Thxs for the pics.
