MSD Optispark 83811 Delayed

Looks like this won't be out till May now. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

, I know I was looking forward to this. Hope my baby can hang in there a few more months.

After watching them delay the arrival of the cap and rotor for more than one full year, I seriously doubt anyone believed that the full Opti would appear in our lifetime.

Thunder already has them listed on their site with price, to bad it wont be out for a while. I still think it should have came out years ago.

Summit says Accels optispark replacement (whole dist) will be available mid March from them.

It looks like it wont have the timing advance feature of the MSD...but whatever...don't need that anyway.

That's just one more variable you'll have to contend with when troubleshooting. Programming is cheaper and a helluva lot cleaner than pulling the front end of the motor off to adjust it.
