Does the MSD cap and rotor kit come with the wiring harness? The end of mine that plugs into the opti has a cracked plastic piece and I need a new one.

 

yes it does...they harness is made into the opti instead of plugging a harness directly into the opti

My cap and rotor kit didn't come with any wiring harness, it just came with the cap/rotor/screws.

 

I've been looking at some online catalogs and I am pretty sure now that the cap and rotor kit does not come with the wiring harness.

From what you stated, I believe you have the "complete" MSD Opti distributor. Whereas, the MSD cap and rotor kit is a replacement package for the GM Opti distributor. So, no wiring harness with the cap and rotor kit.
