MSD 6A Where do I put it?
If you put it in the glovebox, you won't need the warranty. Seriously, these boxes do not like heat (and there's quite a bit under your hood). Ever wonder why the box looks like a heat sink?
Put it in the glovebox - it will stay cool, last a hell of a lot longer than if it was under your hood, its away from the elements, and it won't be in the way of any future mods.

well im gonna do the work tomorrow. Ill post here to tell you if it helps the low end because that is one of the reasons that im changing the whole damn thing. I already went through opti, filters and every other damn suggestion to fix the garbage low end. Well I hope this works for all of us.
By the way how should I go through the firewall? Im probably gonna put it in the glovebox to avoid the heat like PatriotTA stated in his post.
Thanks for all the advice and ill tell you guys tomorrow if it works out ok.

MSD has instructions for installation on their website.
What the box does is increase the voltage and duration of the spark to promote a better, more thorough burn of the fuel. The higher end boxes also have a "soft touch" rev limiter that randomly shuts off spark to the cylinders when it hits the set limit, as opposed to shutting fuel off like the stock limiter does.
On a stock motor the box has limited value (IMHO), but is a must for nitrous or other power adder.
This is not a fix for a bad opti or bad wires, plugs, or tune.
