Yes, when I got my MSD, I noticed a smoother idle, as well as smoother revving through all RPM ranges.

I had the 6A on in my LT1 vette for about 2 years and I got so used to it that I thought maybe it was old and useless, so a few days back took it off and instantly mi idle went erratic, and black smoke started to come out from the magnaflows. No need to tell my milleage went south

My new 389 LT1 had only +- 600 miles at the time and was perfect before I took off the MSD because I sold it on eBay!!! I guess I've learn the hard way how usefull they are!!!

Here's what's going to happen youll get people saying that the stock ignition system is more than adequite, and people saying that MSD is a waste of money and does nothing for performance. Then you'll get people that say they own one and love thiers.

I've been using an MSD for 3 years now and I love it. The soft touch Rev limiter is more than worth it I've bounced of mine a few times and I feel much better with an aid on my ignition system. My idle improved greatly also, it seemes to have smoothed things out so I assum it's doing it's job. I also have a tach running off the MSD and it's quite on par with the computer verified using a tech 2. I have no negative commetns about the MSD since I"ve owned it. Except it would be cool if it came with a window switch and shifter light output... but I guess that's what the digital was made for... and I don't think they had those out yet when I got my 6AL,but I'm satisfied with it.
