MPH @ 5800 rpm with 3.73s?

Well, couldnt get a high speed run in..but paced with other cars and used LT1 edit to get my speed right and at 60mph I was doing~2100rpms...sooo, I guess my speedo and tach are accurate.

You know, I could just be a dumb@ss and of not been at WOT and was in 4th doing that....crap, I dont remember. Forget I said anything

Yep, 3.73s.

My C5 auto has 3.15s. I've seriously considered 3.73s, but we'll see what some engine work does first. Geesh, the only way to put 3.73s in a C5 is a new complete Getrag rearend which is about 2 large.

BTW, if you are at Pendleton, are you military?

I saw a T-shirt at a race yesterday. It showed military folks in action and said:

"They risk their asses so we can shoot off out mouths!"

Another take on our freedom.

FWIW, at yesterday's Winston Cup race at Watkins Glen, the drivers were paraded around the track in Humvees, rather than new pickup trucks as was done in the past. Of course they all got lots of cheers. After they dropped off the drivers, the Hummers had to make another pass around the track to get to their parking spot. The cheers for the folks driving them were just about as big as for the drivers. That's cool.
