I drive like a grandma too, but driving like a madman doesn't affect my mileage much either. Certainly not enough to deter at least a few WOT runs every week. In fact, I have noticed my mileage drop if I lug around in too high a gear. These engines seem to be most efficient around 1500-1800 rpm.

I've gotten about 350 Miles on a tank doing ALL highway driving on my way to Tennessee then on the next fill up put in 14.2 gallons so ho much ever gas that was used. But I average about 180ish pertank with my heads/cam car.

i can get between 110miles and 250miles in the city depending on where i work. i.e. depending on whether i take the freeway with a couple of stops or 30mins of downtown bumper to bumper rush hour traffic.

I usually get ~12mpg in the city and ~16-17mpg on the highway, but my car is running uber rich right now.

I have a Vig 3200 and it didnt hurt the gas mileage to much at all, just got to learn how to drive it with a stall. Jon94Zs auto gets like 280 miles a tank but he drives like he's 95.

driver.

like i told you, i got 320 miles outta a tank once, ALL highway, not getting on it at all.
(i did have an exhaust leak from the EGR tube, and a burnt plug wire...so i might of got another 10 miles outta that tank)

but normal driving i get about 240 out of a tank. my car is an A4 with 3.23s

my dads 2000 LS1 camaro gets 300 city driving, but he has a slighty bigger tank, 2.73s, and helium in his right foot.

an lt1 wagon has gotta be the worst choice for fuel economy, so there isnt much that can be done to make it better.

There are GM wagons with 3.8L and 3.1L motors with overdrive. They average 35mph at 75mph on the highway.

i get 10.2 around town, thats about 130 to a tank, tank ending at 1/4th that is ( you know how these gauges are).

I have NEVER gotten 200 miles to a tank, highway/city mixed i got 190 to a tank, which was 14 mpg, best i've ever had

The most I ever got to a tank was about 250. And ironically, that was to the racetrack, racing (6 passes), and then going home haha.
