Mpg
My car has 2.73 gearing,
I have gotten as good as 27 mpg strictly highway and nice smooth interstate, yes many will not believe me but I have checked this numerous times,,, I love my car.
Combined I usually get around 19 to 21 mpg if I don't get into it every light and stop.

Nice , I was thinking around 17 , My mechanic said I would be lucky to get 8 mpg but the dumbass also didnt bother to ask what kind of gears were in it, on another note I just got it out of the shop and paid $250 to have the pickup tube put on along with a retainer bracket to hold it on and an 02 sensor replaced, An hour later I noticed that My oil psi is still dropping below zero at redlights and when I put it in reverse.. Taking it back up there tomorrow and I'm sure he is going to say that It's because my oil pump needs replaced but how is my oil pump bad if while driving the car has 70 psi.. I'm pissed to say the least..
Talked to the mechanic today and he said it was probably the sending unit , so I changed it out and the oil pressure still sometimes drops to zero, I don't think I'm actually getting zero oil pressure because the valves dont tick or anything. Im getting a code 33 but I doubt that would have anything to do with it. Could It be because there is a high volume oil pump?
27mpg with 2.73's?! I pull 25's easy strictly highway with my 3.42's I can usually pull 27.5 at 1600rpm. I can't go lower then 1600RPM's otherwise I get baddd cam surge.
