Motor and tranny are in!!!!! Lots of Progress!!! PICS

For the guys that don't make it over to LS1 Tech:
==================================================

Buttoned up the brake lines, plugs, wires and some other misc. stuff. Oh yeah, the motor and tranny are in! Couldn't have been done w/o Tony and of course Jeff at Maxwell. There's still a few things to finish but we may start it up sometime this week or next weekend.

1. Brake lines with SJM ABS delete kit

2. MSD Coil & Wires

3. Fikse's

4. Ready for a motor! Let's go....

5. K-member down, motor on.

6. Coming down

7. And she's in!

8. Finished product (almost)

383 with forged internals, ported heads & intake and a lot of other goodies. This has been a very long project getting to this point. It's almost been a frame-up resto on this car.

Engine was built by Port Pros in Austin, TX. They also did the port work on the heads. I believe they flow right around 290 at .650" lift. Most of this stuff is on my FQuick site.

Port Pros LT1 383 Stroker
Wiseco Pro-Tru Forged Pistons
Callies Splayed Main Caps
Port Pros Stage II LT1 Heads (Competition 5-Angle Valve Job w/ 2.02-1.57 Valves)
Comp Hi-Tech Pro-Magnum Roller Rockers 7/16" stud, 1.7 ratio
ARP 7/16" Rocker Arm Studs
GMPP Guide plates
Comp R Lifters
ARP Head Bolts
GM Extreme Duty Timing Set
Oversized Crank Sprocket
K&N FIPK Cold Air Kit
Ford SVO 42# Fuel Injectors
Hooker Ceramic Longtube Headers
Mufflex y-pipe
Magnaflow catback exhaust system

This car is my hobby car and will mainly be for street/strip and some shows.
