Motor SHake after OPTI install

I installed new OPTI and now motor shakes pretty bad, someone told me it may be timing/retard? any suggestions??

Did you make sure you got the opti on the car the right way? Are all the plug wires on the opti terminals? All wires on the plugs, ect. I would put money on it you put the opti on wrong though.

probably crossed a wires. go double check them. and make sure they are all the way on

Opti was definatly installed correctly, will look into the wires but they are numbered, any other suggestions?

what was it doing before you changed the opti?


just make sure you hooked everything back up... check the wires to the maf, make sure the elbow is on all the way and isnt tucked into the throttle body

Sounds like crossed wires to me.
