Motor is in and ready to go

Should be running it next sat.

Shooting for 11.50's

I don't know how to get the date off the camera so pay no attention to it
And thanks again to Eric and Pete Bradby, they helped me do everything, I learned alot with this one.

Still learning the DFI but I think i've got it down, we will find out next sat. If its not too cold

What did you use? Threaded rod, and nuts on the valve covers, i like that idea, those allen head bolts suck.

What are you using for an air intake setup? Looks like a very light car.

No they are the allen bolts I just put nuts on them to space them out. They are too long, they do suck......Hard to get them started

Probly just bracket race it this year, My money isn't long enough to stay on the road this year. Run super chevy and the eastern F-body shoutouts. And some of the local grudge/quick 16 type stuff, but mostly brackets

[QUOTE][What are you using for an air intake setup? Looks like a very light car. /QUOTE]
Well its not the greatest thing but its an edelbrock Vic-E with a 2" spacer. E.B. Porting made it work, epoxied parts of it, matched it to the ports and had to cut back some stuff on the inside but he got it right. He did all that, I just bolted it on, then its an accell billet TB with lokar cable and 4150 throttle bracket from AED. I think it came out pretty slick.

The lighest the car was before was 3150 with me in it. I cut the halo and A-pillar/knee bars out, window net is out, added a tubular k-member/a-arms and a lift of glasstek 4 3/4" cowl so that should get it a little lighter.

I'm really hoping it will get in the 1.30's 60' but I have a bad feeling the trans is not going to hold up. Converter feels funny too. I don't have much faith in it. ( Built that myself)

We will see what happens, the weather isn't looking so good right now so may not run this weekend.

Tin shed racing....

LT1's suck...should have done an LS1...lol

Looks great man. The bradby's know their stuff. BTW, what are the specs on the cam if you know? You don't have to go into specific details but ballpark would be cool.

Good Luck on running in the low 10's.

I kind of know what the cam is...but Lewis Robertson (The Shop) speced it out. And we put it in according to what he said......thats all I know, he says it will run and I have faith in him...If not I'll just scrap the whole project and find a more realistic hobby
