Motor dies
All,
I have a 1997 Z28 motor and trans in my 1930 ford Street Rod. It has all the electronics and computer attached with the exception of the rear catalytic hookups. Saturday on the way back home from a show, the car died. It will restart after a few minutes and idle but as soon as you touch the gas pedal it will die. After letting it set for a hour or over night it will run just long enough to warm up, and do the same thing. I know it is one of the sensors but not which one. Any ideas I do not have the code reader plug hookup.
Thanks for any help. I stopped at the GM dealer and they will not help.

Could also be Temp. Switch or the plug itself thats on the water pump housing.. I had one do the same thing. Warm up then would die after warm.. It was a bad plug for the temp switch.. Something else to check.. I'd also check fuel pressure as well. Could be either one..
Start
When it's cold it will run until it warms up and then shut down. I drove it this morning for about a mile around the neibhorhood and then it gave up the ghost. It's a new fuel pump but we know how that is.
Temp sensor in the front of the water pump. The ICM can cause these symptoms also. When it dies, see if your getting consistent fire from the coil.
