I think it was right around the 360 RWHP mark, I know of three cams that have made or come very near that mark:

CC306, GM847, and a Baur custom cam.

Honestly if it's done right and you don't sacrafice the TQ band you could get that puppy to 370rwhp or more. It's not cheap but doing things right never is.

A 10 bolt and a M6 always help

I could see an 847 cam making close to the 360mark through an M6 and 10 bolt, but that would have to be with true duals, not a single exhaust, and a dyno tune by a guy who knows LT1's.

I made 351 at the wheels in a customer/friends 94 formula, CC306, 1.6 rockers, 52MMTB, long tubes, electric pump, cold air and a good tune through an auto. Bone stock heads and intake...... I think a little better/bigger cam it would be able to make 375ish.....

I made 354 with a cam from Brett through a single exhaust.

Yeah and you still have HP on the table if all the other things were tweaked like head gasket, electric H2O pump etc....

Actually I don't know if a little bigger is going to help much. I still think if things are done right you coud see 380-385rwhp, but you have to do everything perfect from the start.

dual exhaust isnt always necessarily any better than a single exhaust, 2-2 1/2 inch pipes flow about the same as a single 3 1/4 or 3 1/2 pipe, i forget the exact math on it. im staying single and i plan on doin one hellova motor once my lawyer cuts me my check

Altjar did it (ok, 359) and I do believe he's running a single exhaust.

Re: Most rwhp an LT1/4 has laid down with...

Only time i've ever heard of 400rwhp on stock LT1 heads is in a drag racing motor that had to use the stock castings. Other than that is was a perfect motor.

Just cause it's a solid roller doesn't mean that it's free HP, not saying it's not 400rwhp but just throwing more cam at it doesn't mean more HP.

by stock heads do you mean unported/no valve job or ported stock castings?
