Most lift on stock springs?
Re: Most lift on stock springs?
This is a question that should not even be asked, they are not great springs and these are not new cars. So what you have is springs OK for a stock cam when new that are now 7+ years old, pushing their lift limits now will result in float. A set of LT4 springs will get you more lift capacity a little more pressure and I think they cost a whole $35 a set, those are still not going to be any good for many of the popular cam choices but should be OK with a stock cam and higher ratio rockers. If worried about the trouble of a spring swap on the LT1 it is not that bad, bring the piston to TDC and the valves only fall a quarter inch at most meaning you do not need air to hold the valves up.

Hey!! the man didnt ask for all that!!
j/j ....... dont hurt me
I agree, springs dont cost that much and it will give you something to do for a while. But i beleive my answer was still correct.
