I am new here, and just had a quick question. Which CAI is better as far as performance, SLP or Moroso. I'm trying to decide between the two and was wondering if one gains more horsepower than the other. Also, how hard is the installation for both? Please let me know what ya think! Thanks

 

I think they both put out around the same hp. Only the SLP looks alot better.

 

I don't think anyone has dyno tested the Moroso vs SLP cold air intakes. They are all about the same give or take 1hp. My personal preference is the Moroso because its plastic and theoretically doesn't soak up heat like the SLP.

 

Well i don't think there would be much difference performance wise but i perfer the looks of the SLP but my car had the SLP when i got it and if i were buying one then i would decide based on price.

Pretty much the same

 

I bought a Moroso when I got the car. I put it in, stood back, looked at it, then removed it. I went inside an ordered an SLP CAI. Looks 100x better, plus w/ the Moroso you'll have to drill a hole or two and the SLP you don't.

 

I think they're pretty much all the same--the only thing you really have to look at is the install and which one looks best to you. I have the SLP--easy to install, works good, looks good.
