I didn't have to drill any thing on mine, but it took no more than 30 minutes.

what the hell do u need a drill for?? Not hard. You need a screw driver, a stubby or flexible screw driver, rachet and sockets.. some tubing at the bottom that contains some wires might be in the way when trying to install the morosso but it'll go in if u work with it and pry the wire tubing up... You'll need to remove some bolts underneath your car to install the Filter. Take an hour at most if you know nothing about cars.

The drill is for all us Fire chicken owners who had to relocate the headlight control module. Camaros don't have these since their headlights don't flip up and down.

The only hard part of this was getting the filter clamped on from underneath. With some patience and a moderate of cussing, it should slip right on.

He has a 95 Camaro. There shouldn't be a Control module on his either.
If you know nothing about cars, it should take you about an hour goin' slow. If you do.... 15 mins. I've taken mine out and put it back in within that time frame easily now.
You'll love it too, btw

your supposed to drill new holes to fit the black metal peice on the car...right? thats what i thought you needed to do. i installed mine without it, seems to be working ok, but i believe with the metal peice the filter will be lower and possibly get colder air. what do yall think

I bolted the black metal plate down, although I don't remember if I had to drill the holes or if I used existing holes. My TA's in storage now, or else I'd go check. I am pretty sure I did drill the holes for the plate, then ran some bolts to keep everything tight down there.

I had to drill holes for the metal bracket that holds the filter. No big deal. Just watch your depth when you drill the holes. I drilled right through the inner fender wall

Yep an ordinary drill. What I did was fit everything together, then used a marker to mark where to drill. I forget what bit size. It really is a simple install.

did anybody have problems with fiting the filter on the metal bracket, when we tried to put the bracket in place and put the filter on, it was blocked by the front wheel plastic covering(i m not sure exactly how to describe this peice). Did anyone have this problem? thanks

YOu mount the metal bracket from the top. Then from underneath you have to remove the bolts holding on the front plastic "Facia" Pull the facia out of the way and reach up and install the filter. It is a bit of a pain in the butt because it is a blind connect. Also make sure the hose clamp that holds the filter in place is going to be in a position where you can tighten it down, or you will have to take the filter back off and reposition the clamp.

Hope this helps
