Moroso Cai

just wondering if anyone else had a hell of a time getting this in...i dont know what was going on but that block off plate near the lower part of the intake tube would NOT go in easy, then when i got it in i didnt have enough room to get the filter on from under the car then it took me a good deal of time to make my hood close evenly....I'm half tempted to send it back to summit just because i was so pi**ed it took an hour to put on... anyone else got it?

I put one (aka "Callaway Honker") on, and everything fit perfectly. I did drill one extra hole to bolt the closure plate onto the subframe.

I have a Moroso CAI and I did have to trim the tube where it enters the block off plate so it would lower enough not to interfere with the hood but other than that its OK.

Mine took some work getting it in too. I figured it would be way easier.

you'd think that they would actually design the part for a DIRECT FIT... but what was i thinking, there is nothing easy about working on an f-body. haha im taking that thing off, id run w/o a filter before i put another moroso CAI on.

if you're having trouble getting the big tube into the rubber part on the plate, use a small amout ofvaseline on the lip. Mine wasn't that hard to install.
