Morel lifters ???

Morel lifters ???

I recieved some morel lifters from a performance shop ... but they have a Cc
logo on the link bar, any ideas.

link bar?? My Morels came 2 days ago and there is no link bar. 16 single piece. ??

Morel makes a link bar style lifter like the one pictured below.




And not link bar lifters.

I got the single piece ones as well mine have no link bars at all. They are working just fine using the stock lifter a alignment plades and spider assembly. I have revved into 7k rpm territory a few times too with no problems to report. Excellent pieces you wont be dissapointed.

I can take a pic tomorrow.... they look exactly like Morels but have a logo with a capital "C" with the lower case "c" inside the capital with an underscore.

Tomorrow I will look mine. I got them from Eric (Victory Racing), if I see same logo I will let you know then its normal.

No Morel is their own company, and I can tell you that our lifters are sent directly from Morel to us.

The lifter itself is the same aside from the extra lifter body height for attatching the cross bar. The cross bar is just to keep the roller bearing aligned with the cam lobe. The non cross bar lifters would use the stock lifter guide plates to stay aligned. There have been some reports of the stock guide plates or the guide plate retainers failing but its not something that is common.
