Mod opinions please....

I am going to have some extra money really soon and I'm trying to decide what to purchase.. Here is the gauranteed list:

Plugs
Wires
Tranny fluid
Tranny filter
Tranny Gasket.

Everything below is optional:

And I thought since I would be in there for the tranny service I might do a shift kit too. Roughly $110.00

I want to upgrade my exhaust to take better advantage of my CAI. I've decided on the 3" Magnaflow to dual 3.5" tips. Roughly $450.00

I also want Autotap.. Roughly $275.00

And I am kinda wanting Steve's Digital 6+ Ignition = $200.00

Basically after the guaranteed stuff above, you have $300. So do you spend it on the cheaper stuff or save up to get the exhaust... Which of them would be more important to you?

The only other thing wrong with the car (aside from the electrical issue in the steering wheel) is the EGR valve. So that's not a pressing issue, just a nuisance cause of the light.

FYI there is a borla for sale $300 plus shipping in the FS section.

Since you are doing tranny Maintance/ pocible mods, you can also install a tranny cooler. Just a thought.

Look what I found in 2 mins and read it to make sure the info is there.

Its a wonder what a click of the search button will do

2nd page had detailed post.

Many think that because its shifting "harder", that its killing hte trany. That is not true. Read for explanation.

If you get a shift kit get a TransGo. Stage II is fine for the stock cam.

Your clutches slip less so they wear less.

i don't see any need for the ignition, or are you running (or planning to run) a power adder?

i think you'd get the most enjoyment out of a shift kit/tranny cooler.

Nope, no power adders..

Only mods so far:
160* thermostat
TB Bypass
SLP CAI

And lots of stereo equipment.
