Well they are all different thicknesses to start, so for one consider how they will affect your c/r. I like the 1074 myself alot.

Re: Mixed ideas on head gaskets..

I put in an Impala head gasket just 70 miles ago since my old one blew. No problems so far, and I computed that my C/R is 11.0:1 by changing the gasket. Here are the compressed heights: Stock gasket-.049, felpro-.039, impala-.029, Mr. Gasket-.026.

With a blower you would like to get the compression ratio down. This is becuase of detonation or ping. The lower you can get the compression ratio the less likely you're going to get some ping. Ping on a FI motor will break something very quickly. Most likely your ring lands.

So what are the thinnest gaskets i can buy? Not trying to hi-jack the thread, just curios. The Mr Gasket are the thinnest head gaskets made for the LT1?
