Missfires caused by bad wire clips?

I have ngk tr-55s with taylor wire. I get misfires every few days that disappear on their own. I was wondering, my wires dont clip on firmly to the spark plugs. I was wondering, should I pinch the clip that touches the outside contact of the spark plug therefore making a firmer connection and possibly no misfires. I was wondering if this loose feeling is normal or could it be problems?

I dont know if i said this clear, I just notice that the wires feel a little loose on the plugs, should i bend the clips a little tighter to make it tighter?
