Miss fire?

My car has a miss fire at low rpms 1500 and down. When I first start the car it runs rich and some black smoke comes out the rear after a few revs the gas smell goes away, but under light throttle you can fill the car missing. Also If I am going down the road and floor it their is a delay befor it takes off.But at high rpms I don't fill a miss.I canged the cap and rotor and wires and plugs; but the it is doing the same thing.I have felt gas leaking out of the fule presure regulator.I am thinking its eather the regulator or the injectors. What do you guys think? Thanks

if you got fuel coming out of the vacuum port of the regulator you absolutely, positively, need a new regulator. when you pull more engine vacuum, like at an idle, you will suck more fuel into the intake through the regulator. not to mention your fuel pressure will prob be off.

Ya it dosent happen all the time but some times I get a strog gas smell and when I put my hands on the regulator my had comes back full of gas. I am not shure where its leaking from but if it dose start it stops once I worm it up.
